Hawker

Hawker is one of canberras highly regarded areas and this original 1970’s home was sitting on a huge 2400 square meter block so clearly it held huge potential.

We constructed a large double storey extension of the rear of the home with a large rumpus area, bathroom and kitchenette downstairs, effectively creating a self contained area.  Upstairs was opened up into the existing living area with a large new kitchen installed, overlooking  the huge family area with raked ceilings and highlight windows, before flowing out onto the rear deck and bbq area through triple stacker glass doors. Polished timber floors through the living areas and tiled outdoor verandah areas front and rear. A new facade and balcony railings to the front updated the property and created the well deserved street appeal.
